We are not aware of any issues currently affecting customers. Note that any issue may take a short while to appear here. If you are experiencing a loss of service please check our support site at support.b4rn.org.uk for some troubleshooting tips and contact details should you need to talk to us. Please don't attempt to reset your B4RN router.

Distribution Network Status
Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 13th of January 6:00a.m. to 8:00a.m. - Silverdale: We are allocating new IP addresses to the routers of 116 customers in the area, who have been notified. If you are a business or school, please consult your IT specialist. The outage is not expected to cover the whole period. Please leave your router running so we can ensure your connection is restored following completion of these works.
Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 13th of January 9:00a.m. to 16:00p.m. - 12 customers in Cartmel Fell: This outage is expected to cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.
Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 20th of January 6:00am to 9:00am - 141 customers in Great Salkeld: This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.
Network Maintenance Windows: We normally use Tuesdays and Thursdays – 01:00 to 08:00 – as a maintenance window to perform network operations such as router firmware upgrades, equipment replacement, security updates, minor cable replacements, and other small works with low impact. Occasionally we may plan maintenance at other times for operational reasons. Any major works will be identified above and customers affected will be notified in advance.

Our engineers are based locally, which means the majority of faults for B4RN customers are resolved either same day or next day, with more than 80% fixed within 2-3 days.
